It's a..................................GIRL!!!!

Well on Wednesday Sept 12 was our big ultrasound appointment!! I was both nervous and excited for this appointment. I was nervous because I just wanted everything to be ok with our little baby, was super excited to see everything and to find out for sure what we were having!!! So I met Dustin at the Dr. office and sat there forever and you know you have to have full bladder for this appointment so having a full bladder and being nervous I thought I was going to pee my pants so that made it even worse!!!! But finally it was our turn! We went in and the ultrasound tech lady was so cute and her and Dustin were talking and joking the whole time....well mostly the whole time :) So after a little bit she asked us if we knew what we were having and Dustin pipes up and says "a boy, well the doctor said 70% boy at our last visit" So she pipes up and says "Well I'm going with the 30%" then she started to list the girly parts and Dustin really didn't catch what she said so I said "Dustin its a GIRL!!!!" Then it was kind of funny Dustin got all quiet for the rest of the appointment. I'll be honest I was kind of in shocked too because I was for sure it was a boy too!! But was so happy and sooooo happy everything checked out perfect for our little baby girl!!! After our appointment we stepped in the elevator and I was looking at all the pictures and I just said out loud "shes perfect" and of course started to cry :) Dustin was like oh geez ha ha ha Dustin was still in shock and sad cause he wanted a boy so bad. It took him until later that day to talk about her ha ha I told him it was ok that he was a little sad. And said you can still teach her all that boy stuff like throw a football, work on a car, shoot a gun, etc and he says to me the only thing I'm teaching her is to "stay away from boys FOREVER!!" HA HA HA love him!!! But now I think he is getting more and more used to it (well he better cause shes not changing ha ha ha) He talks to her and rubs my belly and loves to feel her kick. We seriously love this little girl soooo much it is amazing how much love you can have for someone and you haven't even met them yet. I'm 24 weeks along and this little girl is starting to be more of a mover and shaker ;) I guess just like her mom can't sit still!! Now when she kicks or moves you can see my belly move! I totally LOVE it!!!!! Dustin thinks it is kind of weird I guess it is kind of like the movie Alien ;) Way before we knew what we were having I asked Dustin what girl names he liked between Kaylee or Hadley??? He picked Hadley so that is going to be her name!!!! I can't wait until January to meet little miss Hadley!!!!!!!

Boy or Girl??? And first time feeling my baby move!!!!!

On Aug 2nd I had another appointment before this appointment I was super nervous because I didn't want to have surgery or anything that would hurt my baby. But during the appoinment I was 16 weeks and 5 days so I knew that we could possibly find out what we were having :) So when the doctor was doing the ultrasound to see how my ovary was he first showed us our baby and it was so cute our baby had its hand all behind its head so it looked like it was lounging in there ;) but then the doctor moved on and was looking at my ovary and I started to get teary eyed because I didn't want him to say that it had gotten bigger or anything. So after if felt like forever the doctor goes "well it hasn't changed at all and that he is pretty sure it is just endrometriosis" So I will need surgery but not RIGHT now!!! Thank goodness!! So after that the doctor was all "hmmm am I supposed to look at anything else" Um yes!!! So he went back to the baby and was looking and but our little stinker just kept its legs all folded up so we couldn't see anything BOOOO! So after a little while of trying to see and hoping the baby would move the doctor said if I had to say right now I would say probably like 70% chance its a.................BOY!! I just have to tell you before my appointment I was getting ready for work and I had a little talk with my baby and said that "You need to open up your legs today so we get to see for sure what u are." So I guess this is the start of my kid not listening to me LOL!!! I am so happy about this little baby boy or girl(probably a boy ha ha) and Dustin is so happy to have a little boy!! On Aug. 6th (17 weeks and 2 days) I was sitting at work and on the way in I picked up a Yogurt parfait at McDonalds and as I was eating it I felt this little thing down in my lower stomach and right after it I was like I think that was the baby but I could be wrong because this is kind of early. But the next morning at work I was sitting there and all of a sudden the samething happened in the same spot and it was a lot longer and I was like that was the baby for sure!!!! It was the coolest thing ever!!!! So since then everyday I feel him move through out the day and it is so so so AWESOME! I LOVE IT!!! In a couple of weeks we get to go back and have our big ultrasound where they check everything!! I am so excited and so excited to get a 100% boy or girl!!! ;)

We are PREGNANT!!!

After I got back from Oklahoma was the time I was supposed to be starting my period. But that day came and went :) So I didn't want to take a pregnancy test cause I didn't want to jinx myself cause I was just thinking because I was sick and my vacation maybe that was why I was late. So I waited 4 days after my missed period to do a test. It was weird I kept feeling cramps those days so for sure I was like oh i'm going to start. So Monday the May 7th I came home from work late and Dustin was already asleep for the night. So I went and took the test and within like 30 seconds it was a positive sign!!!!!! I was pregnant!!!! So I sat in the bathroom for a little while crying, shaking and wondering how I was going to tell Dustin ;) I have always wanted to do something cute to annouce I was pregnant.....but I was sooooo excited I just yelled to Dustin and woke him up to come and look!!! It was so funny he was all sleepy and he just sat there and stared at the pregnancy test for a little while so I said to him do you know what that means and he looks at me and says "your pregnant" yep I am!!!

Dustin cracked me up it seriously took him like a week for it all to sink in he wouldn't talk about it or anything ha ha ha got to love him!!! But on Mother's day he gave me a hug and said "happy mother's day" to me!! On June 7th was my first doctors appointment!!! I was sooo nervous I just wanted everything to be ok. So Dustin and I went and it was the coolest and neatest thing ever experienced!! Seeing that baby on the monitor and seeing the heart beat was amazing!!! When the doctor was showing us the heart beat Dustin got up to look at the screen closer and I said to Dustin "do u see it?" and Dustin said "yes" and right then the baby totally moved!!! It brought me to tears it was like it was saying "hey mom and dad do u see me!!!!!!" Oh it is crazy how much love I have for this little person that I haven't even met yet. That day was by far one of the best days ever! I am due Jan. 12, 2013

Our first family picture!! July 5th was my second appointment and it was fun and scary at the sametime. Everything was fine with the baby and it was fun during the ultrasound it kept moving around so the doctor had a hard time getting a good picture ;) But onto the scary part you see at my first appointment I found out that I probably have endometriosis and that my left ovary is a lot bigger than it should be. And it being so big my doctor thinks that we should do surgery :( Cause there is a possibility that I may have endo cells that need to be removed, or a cyst or cancer :..( So I find out for sure next month if I need surgery or not and if I do I have to do it right away because we can't wait any longer in my pregnancy or surgery could make me go into preterm labor. I am hoping and praying that everything is going to be ok!!! Like I have said to everybody I don't care about me I just don't want anything bad to happen to this baby!! So my next appointment we find our if surgery or not and maybe if everything works out we get to find out if we are having a BOY or GIRL!!!!! I am so happy that we are pregnant we are soo blessed!! I love this little person sooooo much and I will do anything to make sure he or she is going to be ok and I get to hold this baby in 5 months!!!!

Oklahoma Part 2

Thursday we stayed in still was a little sick :( but that night Justin and Lisa went to a concert so my dad, mom and I stayed home and watched the kids. It was so much fun we had a movie night and I just played with Brianna and Ryan oh I love these two so much!! It was cute I put Brianna to bed that night and after reading a story she gave me a big hug and said "I love u Kristy" Oh melts your heart!!! Friday was Brianna's birthday party with her friends so we had to get ready for this most of the day. The party was fun we went to a cool park and had pizza, cake and ice cream then the kids went and played at the park after.

Justin having fun at the "Princess party" ;) hope he doesn't kill me!! Saturday we went to the GW Exotic Animal Park. This park was awesome!!! It had tigers, lions, bears, wolves, monkeys, birds, zebras and many more. The best thing about this park is how close you get to the animals you could seriously reach over the little fence and touch them but we didn't, didn't want to lose a hand ha ha!! After we went through the park and saw all the animals we went on the tour that was behind the scenes and we got to see a lot of cool animals, kiss a camel ;)pet some wolves and the BESTEST part at the end we got to play with 2 baby tigers and a baby black bear!!! They were so freaking cute and so fun!!!! And funny part a lady got bit on the face by the black bear!!! The sad part is on the tour you can't take pictures at all, but there is a guy following you that is taking the pics of you with all the animals so you had to buy their cd. It was so much fun!!!

The next two days we went to church and hung out. It was such a fun vacation besides getting sick I had such a blast!! On Sunday night we even got to experience a Tornado Watch!! It was kind of scary but so glad nothing happened and we didn't have to run to the storm shelter!! So I didn't have to put on my Ruby Slippers to get home ;) It was so much fun to visit them I wish that they didn't have to live so far away I hate it so much cause we miss out on so much stuff :..( Heres a couple of random pics I took while I was there.

Oklahoma Part 1

I got the opportunity to go to Oklahoma and visit my sister Lisa and her family who live there because my brother-in-law is stationed there. Can I just say how I hate that they live so far away and it looks like they will never be back here in Utah :..( Well enough boo hooing I went with my parents because it was my niece Brianna's 4th birthday. That saturday after we got there we just hung out and visited and later that day we went down to Oklahoma city to go eat dinner and go to the Pro Bass shop. We wanted to go to dinner at this yummy italian place but the wait was way to long so we decided to go to a mexican place instead. I don't know if you have ever heard of the Riverwalk in San Antonio Texas but oklahoma city has a version of their own. So while we sat and waited for our table at the resturant me and Brianna went down and walked around the water and fed the ducks that were their. Brianna said "we were having a picnic with the ducks" love her!! Sunday we went to church and a couple of minutes before we left one of the primary teachers called Lisa and said that she wouldn't be able to teach. So who got the opportunity to teach Me ha ha ha. I didn't mind ;) But after church we went shooting with Justin. Monday we just hung out during the day then the night we went to the Oklahoma City Redhawks baseball game. They are a farm team like the Salt Lake Bees. It was such a fun night can't go wrong with baseball and hanging out with family. Tuesday was Brianna's 4th Birthday!!! It was so fun because I got to be part of her surprise. Brianna has been in love with horses lately so Lisa and Justin wanted to take her horseback riding. When Lisa told me that we were going to go and do this and I was sooooo excited if you know me you know I LOVE horses sooo much. I was so excited to go!! It was so funny when we pulled into the parking lot of the place and the horses were all lined up getting their saddles on, we all said look its your suprise and Brianna with a big smile on her face yells "I'm getting a horse!!!" LOL not quite ;) Brianna was sooooo excited and it was so cute there was no fear in her she just walked straight up and would pet and talk to all of them. We got to go on a 2 hour ride it was sad because my mom(who loves horses and had her own horse growing up) couldn't go because she had hurt her leg feel bad that she didn't get to go :( But I was the lucky one that got Bubba the horse that just wanted to EAT!!! Well I guess we were paired up perfect because I love food too!! So every chance Bubba would get he would stop and eat while everyone kept on going ha ha ha. So I had to kick, talk and whip him so he would go and then he would take off running to catch up so it was kind of fun because I got a more eventful ride ;) Well Lisa did too BAHAAAAA!! So after 2 hours in the heat we got done. Brianna did so good too you would think a 4 year old after an hour or so would get sick of it but she loved every minute of it!!! Wednesday was a bust. A couple of days before we got their the Walkers got sick with colds. So guess who got sick yep me :( we were supposed to go fishing that night after Justin got off work but I didn't feel good so we just stayed in boo!!

Janice Louise Woodward

For those who don't know who that is, thats my mother in law who passed away over a year ago. This last friday March 2nd I got the opportunity to go to the Temple and do her work for her.
It was such an amazing experience to be able to do that for her. When I went to do the washing and annointing for her it was so cool when I went the ladies there were so happy and rushed me right in. During it I was crying and one of the ladies said to me while I waited she said "this one means something to you" And I said "yes, its my mother-in-law" and she gave me a hug and started to cry and said "that she could feel that this one was special too!!"
It really was a special oppourtunity and such an honor that I got to do that. Being able to do that for her really taught me what true forgivness is. To truly forgive someone you have to realize that you can't change the past. There was a lot of things that I had been struggling with when I thought of Jan and the past. I don't want to go into detail about it. But being worthy and being able to do her Temple work was my opportunity to really forgive her for the past. I know that the past can't be changed but I now know that her's and mine futures are now changed and changed for the good. And it is so nice to not have the burden of resentment on my shoulders I had towards her anymore. I am so thankful that I had that opportunity to do her work for her and now she can progress. I love you Jan and I miss you too!!!
Speaking of doing work for family members. Dustin and I have started doing family history for his dad's side of the family. And last week while doing it Dustin asked me "do you think they(his ancestors)have really been waiting for me to do this" I told him I really think they have. I'm so excited to do their work for them they have waited long enough til somebody in their family to find them and to go and do their work for them.
So Dustin and I have a lot of work to do but we are excited to do it!!

Valentine's

On pinterest I found a cute idea to do for Valentine's day for Dustin. Each day leading up to Valentine's day I would give Dustin a treat with a cute saying that went along with the treat. So on February 1st I was at work on pinterest ;) writing down all of the treats I needed to buy. Then a couple of minutes later Michelle who I work with comes up and says that she found this cute idea on pinterest. So she tells me and I say "I want to do that too!! I have a list of all the treats I need to buy" Great minds think a like ;) So on our lunch we went to good old Walmart to buy all of our treats!!!
So that night I got home late from work and Dustin was already asleep so I put 2 treats 1 for the 1st and the other for the 2nd, on the bathroom counter for him to get when he woke up. So that next morning when he came to give me a kiss goodbye he says "who did that" ummm I don't know if it was just early or what so I said "I don't know" and he just stands there kind of confused. Um one of the treats was donut holes and the saying was "Donut you know I love you a Hole bunch" So I said to him "who do u think did it crazy" Then I think it sunk in and he realized it was from me and he thanked me and went to work. Crazy kid!!!!
So the next 13 days each night or morning I would put his treats around the house for him to get. I think he liked all the treats he got. And maybe just maybe I like them a little to much too!! LOL
So on Valentine's day I wanted to give him the chocolate candy with the saying "I love you more than Chocolate and that is saying a lot" ;) and give him a shirt or something along with it. But Dustin needs new tires and other stuff for his car so that is his Valentine's, birthday, anniversary, and christmas all wrapped in one because they are so Expensive!!! ;)
So Valentine's day came and don't get me wrong I love my husband but he is really not a romantic ;) So I wasn't expecting anything from him cause I told him I wanted to go to dinner and a movie so I thought that is my present I'm fine with that. But when I got home from work I went into our room to change and I see a paper with my name on it all folded on our bed. He wrote me a letter telling me how much he loves me and stuff. AWWWWW love him!!!!!
So this weekend we are going to go to dinner to MADDOX!!! and then to a movie I'm hoping he will take me to The Vow but we'll see ;)
But I just have to say I love my Valentines!!!! Dustin is such a great husband!! I am so grateful to have him in my life!! I LOVE HIM SO SO SO MUCH!!!! So glad he is MINE!!!!

Brian Regan 1/20/12

A couple of months ago I found out that Brian Regan was coming to Salt Lake and I have wanted to go to one of his shows but everytime I find out he is coming it is to late and all the tickets are sold out. So this time I found out before they even went on sale. And to let you know me and my friend Jacki have always said the next time he comes we have to go. So when I found out he was coming and the tickets were going on sale I had to tell Jacki and I told my family because they love him too!! So both her family and my family wanted to go so we just decided to go seperate :( But atleast we both got to go to Brian Regan so that was ok for us!! So we just bought our tickets seperate.
That night my sister, parents, and I went to dinner before the show to Macaroni Grill minus Brad and Hilary, Brad couldn't get off work early enough so we were just going to meet them at the show. Dinner was good until the very end of my meal for some reason I took a bite and my chicken alfredo just tasted like tuna fish. Wierd I know!!! So I was done so I just colored on the the table until everyone else was done like a kid ha ha ha. If you ever been the tables have paper on top and the waiter or waitress writes their name with a crayon. So yep I was like 4 and was coloring with the crayons ;)
So we went to the show and while walking to the show from the resturant, I get a text from Jacki asking where the key and garage door opener was for her parents house. (Side note I watched their animals and house sat while they went to Florida). So I knew they were coming to Brian Regan that night too so I said after the show I'll call you and meet u somewhere to give them to you. So we are sitting waiting for the show to start and about 5 minutes before the show starts who walks through the door right where we are sitting. Jacki and her family their seats are right next to us!!! It was so awesome it was truly meant to be that me and Jacki got to watch it together. Kind of weird but AWESOME!!!! His show was awesome!!!! My face and stomach were so sore from laughing so much!!! He is HILARIOUS. If you have never heard him look him up he is so funny and his jokes are clean so that is a plus.

Christmas 2011

Well it is almost February and I'm just posting about Christmas ;) But this past christmas was such a fun one. My sister Lisa and her family got to come from Oklahoma and we all got to spend christmas together!!! Also I got to meet my nephew Ryan for the first time!! Well the night before Lisa and her family flew in we celebrated christmas with Dustin's family. Since Dustin's mom passed we decided to keep her tradition of having smoked turkey and other yummies she always made for christmas. This was the second year we have done it and had Dustin's grandparents, dad, sister, and her kids over for dinner. It was a little stressful because I was making everything myself and I didn't want to mess anything up specially because these were Jan's recipes. But I was lucky enough that everything turned out good, I wouldn't say perfect because Jan wasn't here and she wasn't the one making it :( sure miss her and her good cooking!!!

So the next day we went and picked the Walkers up from the airport. Dustin and I were the first ones there and we were standing and looking at when there flight was supposed to arrive and I looked down and who do I see..............EMMA WATSON, Herminone Granger from the Harry Potter movies. It was so funny she was walking right towards us and I was like that is Emma Watson and Dustin didn't believe me and she walked into the baggage claim office. So I told Dustin that is her I know it "Don't question me Dustin it was her" LOL!! So he walked over closer while she was in the office and he was comes back smiling agreeing that it was her!! (little side note Dustin is in love with her, LOL) So I get out my camera ready to take a picture of her so I am pretty much a stalker now waiting for her to turn around so I can take a picture. Then she turns around and I freaking freeze!!!!!! I know I'm an idiot but you could tell she was upset and I didn't want to be that stupid fan. So I waited til my mom and dad got there and maybe they can be brave and take a picture or talk to her. But you can tell she is upset. So we stay back and watch her she walks to the bathroom. And guess who follows Dustin!!!! So I think he is so going to talk to her when she comes out of the bathroom!!! So Dustin comes back and the first thing I ask is "Did u talk to her??" He says no I talked to the bodyguard. He says he asked the bodyguard "Are u with Emma Watson" and the body guard says yes and Dustin's says my wife would love a picture with her do you think that she will do it. He says any other day she would do it but Delta has lost her baggage and she is really upset. So 2nd fail for us!!!!! We suck!!!
But back to picking Lisa and her family up ;) they finally arrived and I got to meet my cute nephew Ryan for the first time!!! Oh I hate that they live so far away!!!

So the Walkers were there for the next 10 days!! It was so much fun having all of my family together and specially for Christmas. Before Christmas came the sunday before we had Ryan's blessing oh he was such a handsome boy dressed in white. I'm so sad I don't have any pics of him because I was in charge of Lisa's camera to take pics ;) But he sure was cute!! Then my sister Lisa went through the temple and got her endowments out and again I was in charge of Lisa's camera again it was way to cold to take more pics with mine that night. But I am so happy that she chose to go through the temple!! Next couple of days after that we just hung out and played games and ate way way way to much food!!!! Christmas eve day we made a bunch of cookies for us and santa ;) Oh really think I gained like 10 pounds those days I was at my parents we just had way to much yummy food and could resist!!
Christmas day was awesome!!!! Like I said before it was so nice to have everyone there all together. All I can say is it is good to be a grandchild of my parents LOL!! SPOILED!!! I'm a little jealous cause I was the baby and I was always spoiled but not anymore its good to be a grandkid jk ha ha ha.
The day after christmas we went sledding there wasn't much snow but there was a dirt road that was covered with snow. So my dad would drive us up it in his truck and we would slide down and keep doing it over and over. Lisa and I went together the first time and all I can say is HILARIOUS!!!!! Ok this road was pretty steep and you go pretty fast so we were kind of scared thinking because we are bigger than the kids and would go really fast and we didn't want to crash! So we went and we were going so so so slow down the mountain and all the kids were passing us and we couldn't stop laughing because we were going so slow!!! We even came to a stop BAHAHA!!! Oh it was so funny!!! We rocked!!! So after we came down this old man with a truck full of old wooden sleds asked if we wanted to borrow them cause we only had one sled that worked. So all I can say is these sleds were so freaking scary!!! you would lay down face first and ride it down and you really had no control of them and you are going head first!! But we had so much fun on them we might be a little crazy for riding them but it was so fun!!
That night we had to say goodbye to the Walkers cause they were leaving the next day and Dustin and I had to work :...( Oh I hate that they live so far away!! It really sucks not going to lie!!! Miss them so much.

It was so nice to get to spend Christmas all together. That was the best present ever to be all together! I love my family so much both mine and Dustin's it is so nice to be able to spend time together even though I wish we could do it more. Family really is everything!! Can't wait til next time we get to be all together again.
