1 Year

Today November 26 marks Dustin and mines 1 year anniversary of going through the Temple and being sealed together!! It was black friday that day but for us it was "white friday" :) It was the most amazing experience in my life!! I am so grateful that Dustin and I had changed our lives for the good and we were able to go through the Temple together.


Whenever I think back to that day a year ago I always think or say that it was the greatest day ever and also the worst day ever. You see the night before we went through the Temple Dustin got a phone call from his grandma saying that they had taken his mom to the hospital that she was unconcious. Well this hadn't been the first time so we thought that she would get the medicine to clear the acid out of her and that she would get better. So Dustin told me and we prayed and we felt that we would still stay up at my parents house and go through the Temple and then see how she was after. So that day after we went through the Temple when we were eating lunch with our friends and our family Dustin got a phone call from his Aunt saying that his mom wasn't doing better and that there was nothing the doctors could do and that she wasn't going to make it and they didn't know how much longer she was going to live. (See how it was the best day ever to the worst day ever) So we had to hurry and leave and go to the hospital to see his mom. I remember that day when we were there at the hospital I was alone with Jan and I was talking to her about me and Dustin going through the Temple that morning and I said how much I loved her son and that I promised that I would take care of him. Even though she was kind of out of it I know that she heard me and was happy for us. Also when Dustin and I were alone with her that day Dustin was talking to her about us going through the Temple and asked her if she wanted us to to her temple work for her she said "yes" So I can't wait to be able to do her work for her.
I can't believe it has been a year since we went through the Temple. I love it so much I love that Dustin and I are sealed and someday when we have a family knowing that our family will be together forever makes me so happy. Even though that day we found out the worst news about Dustin's mom it was such a blessing for us to have the gospel and go through the Temple and to know the plan of salvation that we will be able to see her again someday. I love Dustin so much and I love that we are going to go to the Temple tonight and we are going to start a tradition of going to the Temple on our anniversary each year!! ;)

Thankful

Well its that time of the year and I just wanted to post the things that I'm thankful for I wanted to do the thankful day thing where each day you say what you are thankful for.....but as you see it is the 20th and I didn't do that ha ha ha

What I'm thankful.........

First one that I have to say is the Gospel everything about the Church. Its so so so amazing!!! Words really can't describe how I feel about it. I fell away from the Church awhile ago and I know how if feels to not have the gospel and the Holy Ghost in your life. It is so amazing and I am so grateful for it. I know Dustin and I wouldn't be where we are in our lives if it wasn't for the Gospel. We probably wouldn't even be together. I am so grateful for Jesus Christ and the power of repentance. I could go on an on but most of all I'm so thankful for my loving Heavenly Father who I know for a fact he listens and answers prayers!!!
Thankful for my husband Dustin!! I am so thankful for him he is awesome!! He makes me so HAPPY!! I am so thankful that he changed is life around with me and we are now married and sealed in the Temple. I love that he is a worthy priesthood holder. I love how hard he works in his job to be the provider for our family. I can't wait to start a family with him and am so grateful that our family will be together forever!!
Thankful for my amazing family!!! I am so grateful and lucky for having them in my life!! My parents are amazing they have always been there for me from supporting me in all my sports growing up to being such amazing examples to me on how to live your life and be faithful people. I am so grateful for my amazing and awesome siblings Aubrey, Lisa and Brad!!! They are amazing even though they picked on my so much growing up ha ha I love them and they are such good examples to me!!! Thankful for my extended family too and all that they do for Dustin and I!!
Thankful for my cute nieces and nephews!! ;) Oh I just love them all. Its amazing how much love I have for them and it shows just a glimpse of how much love I will have for my kids!!
Thankful for my friends. My friends are awesome!! I really have some amazing friends in my life that have been there for a long time and some that have been there shortly ;) You know who you are!!!
Thankful for our jobs. I know you may think why is she putting this on here she complains a lot about going to work he he he. But I am really thankful that Dustin and I have jobs and that we can do the things we want to because we have money for them. So many people don't have jobs and for those of us that do we are really lucky. We are so lucky to be able to afford the simple things in life like food, heat, water and etc...
Thankful for the Armed Forces. The service men and women who willing serve this country so we can be free to do the things we want. I just have to say I was thankful for them before but now to have my brother in law Justin in my family who is in the Air Force it makes me so much more grateful and proud to be an American. God bless our Troops!!!
Well those are the people and things that I am truly thankful for. There is so much more I'm thankful for but those are the most important to me!! I love this time of season. It always bugs me that stores and people skip over Thanksgiving because of Christmas. I always wonder don't they have anything they are thankful for?? Well I love Thanksgiving not just because of the yummy food(that is a big part) ha ha ha!! But I love spending time with family and loved ones!! I love the holiday seasons most of all because of being with family. Well I hope everyone has Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Two Year Anniversary!!

Well on November 7th Dustin and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary!! I really can't believe it has been 2 years already it really seems like yesterday we were getting married.


Well we didn't really do anything on our official anniversary I went to work for a couple of hours and then picked up some yummy food from Golden Dynasty and finished unpacking. Yep Dustin and I are finally out of the grandparents basement!!! It is so nice to be on our own again!!! We really wanted to stay there and pay more stuff off and then move into a house but some stuff has happened the past couple of months and it was just time for us to move. I really was going crazy there!!! Don't get me wrong I am really grateful that the grandparents let us move there it really helped us get back onto our feet again but it was time ;)I love our little apartment its perfect for us for right now!!

But back to our anniversary we decided to go up to Park City and stay at the Waldorf Astoria hotel!!! All I can say is it was amazing!! The hotel is awesome!! Here are a few pics of our trip ;)

Our trip was so much fun and I really didn't want to come back ;) My favorite parts were the awesome hotel I know I might sound stupid but it was so amazing I think Dustin favorite part was the valet parking he thought that was so cool LOL!! Dinner was delicious we were looking at all different places to eat and the prices were a little to pricey for us so we finally found Bandits Grill and Bar and it was soooooo good I got the prime rib and Dustin got the pulled pork plater. I highly recommend going there I even tried to get Dustin to go back for lunch ha ha ;) I loved walking around the Old Main street it was just perfect it was night time and snowing and was so romantic!! But my all time favorite part of the whole trip besides being there with my amazing husband Dustin, was we decided since we got the hotel and trip that we would write letters to each other just saying how much we love each other and stuff. I was kind of hesitant of Dustins I was thinking that it would be a paper with "I love you" in it and signed Dustin but he totally caught me off guard and wrote a whole letter and how he feels about me!!! AWWWW I know!! It was perfect I loved it and it totally knocked my letter out of the park(hes says it didn't)

But I just want to say I really LOVE Dustin he is the perfect husband for me!! I can't believe it has been 2 years!!! It really seems like yesterday we got married its funny because I never thought we would get married we dated for 6 years before ha ha!! But it finally happened YAY!! I really love Dustin so much, I love that he works so hard in his job. I love that I'm still head over heels for him he just makes me so happy!! I LOVE that we are married and that specially we are sealed together!! He makes me so happy words really can't describe how much a truly love him!! He is my best friend. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY babe can't wait to celebrate many many more with you!!

Summer so far....

Well its been awhile since I last posted but probably nobody reads this so ha it doesn't matter;) all I can say is I love summer I can't believe it is already August though Summer is almost over and winter will be here before we know it:..( oh i hate winter. But anywho we have been pretty busy this summer lets see I'll start from when I last left.
After Vegas it was the 4th of July. Can I say I love this time of year fireworks, BBQs and spending time with family. We had the annual Logan fireworks where we spent time with the Sparrows. As long as I can remember we have gone to the fireworks with them at the same spot every year and eat pizza and treats ;) It is fun to catch up and play with the kids. Best part was Dustin was the lucky guy who all the kids wanted to play with ha ha (just preparing him for ours) He likes it ;) But it was a fun night and the fireworks were awesome as usual.
On July 15th I'm sitting and watching tv and get a text from Dustin asking if I wanted to go to Harry Potter.....um YES i just may of got a little teary eyed maybe ha ha!!! So I hurried and got online to buy the tickets because it was opening day. So I met Dustin down there after he got off work and we went to the 3D showing. It was awesome!!! I love Harry Potter so much!! I still can't believe it is all over well it has been over for me for quite awhile because I read the books but the movies were so good!! I think I may re-read the books call me a nerd but I love it so much ;)
Then on July 18th my sister Lisa and my niece Brianna came from Oklahoma for 2 weeks!! I was bad and didn't take that many pictures so sorry. It was SO much fun. Best part is because me and Lisa kind of ganged up on my parents to buy them 2 tickets to come here instead of them buying 2 tickets to go to Oklahoma ha ha we are awesome. We also planned it the last 2 weeks of July while my boss was gone from work so I could take more time off to spend with them. So that day they flew in they went and visited our great aunt Jeanie so I got off work and went up there to her house and we had dinner with her. Can I just say when I got there Brianna came over to me and said that she "missed me" I seriously got teary eyed man I love that girl she really is my little buddy.
I had to work the next 2 days then I went up on Wednesday after I got off work and we went and got sandwiches and went to this awesome park in Logan. I have to say this park was pretty cool it was a castle and a ship combined(where was this kind of park when I was little) Best part of the night is when we got there Brad(brother) said last time we were here these guys came here dressed up in knight gear and were sword fighting...seriously 5 minutes later those same people showed up!!! LOL it was awesome. I think they chose that park because it is a castle and they are the knights in shining armour who protect it ha ha ha It was fun the only bad thing is Brianna loves to swing and swing and swing and swing.....so somebody had to push her LOL ;) The awesome Knights fighting :)

The next day Lisa, Bri and I went to Cafe Rio(delicious!!) and went to Mack Park in Smithfield. It was funny they have 2 parks there so we picked the park that didn't have swings(I know we are mean) But it was in the sun so the slide and stuff were to hot so we had to go to the other park in the shade and guess what it had swings Dang it ha ha But we were lucky and there were older girls there and they pushed ha ha ;) It was so nice to sit and talk and catch up with my sister I really miss her so much and hate that they live so far away. But after that we went and picked my mom up from work and went and got pedicures!! Then we went to Callaways in Smithfield oh I love that place!!! Wilty breadsticks are the best!!!!!!
On Friday we went to the Logan pool and met Hilary and Easton there!! It was so fun Brianna LOVES to swim that really is an understatement she is a fish she could swim all day ever day!! Since Lisa is pregnant I was lucky enough to go down the slide with Brianna(I'm glad because it was pretty fun) It was a little sad because at first Easton didn't want anything to do with the water so Hilary had to stay out but finally towards the end he finally gave in and got in realized how much fun it is ;) Later that night we went over to Brad and Hilary's house and ate dinner and played games and had ourselves our own firework show. All I can say is it is awesome that they legalized the aerials. They are awesome. Thanks mom and dad for buying all the fireworks!!
On Saturday all of us minus Dustin went down to Salt Lake and went to Raging Waters!!! Best part we got really cheap tickets that included tube rental and lunch (thank you Aubrey) I haven't been there since I was probably 6 it has changed a lot. It was so much fun!! The best thing everybody swam so nobody was left out. Once again I was the lucky one that got to go down the slides with Brianna(no complaining from me I was fine with it) Towards the end of the day Easton fell asleep so Brad, Hilary and I got to go down the awesome slides!! We went down this really steep and tall one(I won't lie I was nervous while waiting in line) but I was brave and went down it the first drop was so scary u seriously got air and wasn't touching the slide!!! Then it had another drop where it did the same thing. I think that was the best one scary but fun!! While we were standing in line for the slides all of a sudden this group of I swear 15 people come up and passed everyone in line and went to the front. We were all like what the..who is this?? Come to find out it was a group of MODELS and they were taking pictures of them going down the slides. Seriously on July 24th weekend on a saturday u come and take pics!! The worst part is they would hold all other slides so nobody but the MODELS were in the shot we were ticked and even the other people there were too!! And every slide we went to the MODELS would follow and cut in line in front of us!!! Stupid MODELS!!!! We really wanted to push them in the water or the camera man in cause it pissed us off stupid!!! Besides the MODELS cutting to the front of the lines and making us wait even longer for the slides it was soooooo much fun. It has been so long since my whole family have gone and done something fun like this just wish Dustin could of gone.
So we all slept over at my parents house and went to church. After church we ate a yummy dinner and played games the rest of the day. It is so fun to spend time with all of us. Sometimes we get a little competative ha ha ;) It is so nice to be able to have Lisa and Bri here and get to spend time with them wish Justin could of came but he couldn't get off work.
In between all those big adventures we went out to eat, played games and just hung out. I played a lot with Brianna she is so much fun and such a cute little girl. Sometimes it is hard to believe she is only 3 cause she is so smart. Everyday she would whisper to me and say "I like you Kristy" oh it really tugs at my heart strings I love that little girl so much!!! I really can't wait to have a little Brianna or Easton of my own!! I can't believe how much love I have for them and I know with my own it will be 100 times more. Friday July 29th I went with my parents to take them to the airport :..( It is so sad that they live so far away I really really hate it!! The only good thing is that the next time we see them will be to see baby boy Walker(they haven't picked a name yet) And if everything works out I will be going to Oklahoma to see him!!! :) Can't wait!! So after saying our good byes (tear) My parents and I went to a movie and guess what it was........HARRY POTTER!!! Yep I went again 3D also!!! Oh I love Harry Potter ;) Harry and I (I'm helping him kill Voldemort)

Last Friday Aug 5 my parents, Dustin and I went to the temple up in Logan. It was so much fun we haven't been for awhile and it was so nice to go. It was so nice to have Dustin there it makes it that much more spiritual ;) Oh I love him so much he truly is my best friend and I'm so glad that we are sealed together and we will be together forever!! It has been a great summer we have had so much fun!!! I hope this summer last long specially because it came so late in the year. If you read that all thanks it was sure a long post ;)

VEGAS!!!!!!

Last weekend my sisters, parents and I went down to Las Vegas to see Celine Dion!!! We went for 5 days. It was so much fun!! It was so nice to get away from reality and just relax and do fun stuff. So the only thing we had plan for the whole trip was Celine....so we all sat down and decided what each of us wanted to do... most of all we all wanted to do something everynight.
So Thursday we went to the Luxor for dinner and then went over to The Bellagio to see the fountains(this is one of my favorite things I could sit there all night and watch them) Favorite part of that night is there were a group of boys that were selling their CDs, and we all walk past them saying "no thanks" and kept walking....but my awesome dad stops and chats with them and one of the guys says he went to Weber State and that their group is a rock group.....so what does my dad do he buys the CD LOL!! I don't want to be rude or anyone take me wrong but these boys were for sure not a rock group more like a rap group:) So after asking my dad to bring his "rock CD" in the car to listen to it the last night he brought it out and it was for sure not a "rock CD" it was clear rap ha ha ha oh my dad is so gullible sometimes ;)

So we found out you can buy cheaper show tickets for that day through this company so on Friday night we decided to go to Phantom of the Opera!!!!! (You are not allowed to take pictures in the theatre so Lisa and I got yelled at for this one) The show was Awesome!!! I loved it so much we sat on the balcony first row and I think they were really good seats for the price we paid;) Oh I love that music!!!!

Then on Saturday it was what we had all been waiting for CELINE DION CONCERT!!!!! You aren't allowed to take pictures or videos in the theater either so we only could get these pics of her. All I can say is I seriously love her!!! I could just sit and listen to her all day everyday. Best part of the show were when the curtains opened at the beginning she got a standing ovation before she even started singing it brought tears to my eyes no joke ;) Also she had pics of her and her family and those pics of her and her 2 twin boys were so freaking cute!! The concert was soooo good she is AMAZING!!! I regret so much not going to her other concert in Vegas before but what do you do. I hope I get to go again or she goes on tour again that would be awesome!!!!

Then on Sunday we went to the Hoover Dam......all I can say is boiling HOT!!!! It was so funny when we got there and got out of the car all of us were like do we really want to do this?? ;) We hurried and walked across it and hurried and took pictures too. It was so HOT!!!!! So now I can say I've been to the Hoover Dam ha ha ha

On Sunday night we went to the Knights of the Roundtable show. All I can say is Red Knight went down.... down down down Red knight went down(from Cable Guy) So if you don't get that when you go to this show you get seated in different colored section that are contries and we were
Spain and we were cheering for the Red Knight....and he seriously lost everything he pretty muched sucked LOL!!!!

But even though he sucked and died 2 times.....we took a picture with him LOL!!!

All I have to say is that I had so much fun with my sisters and parents!!! Some other things we did but I don't have pictures of it is that Aubrey and I went on the rollercoaster at New York New York, Lisa and my dad played black jack and both came home winners, eating the yummy desserts at The Cheesecake Factory, exploring the hotels, the awesome and hilarious game(I made up cause I'm really smart;)) while you walk through the crowds and crowds of people you just say out loud the first thing that you see.....some of the sayings from the game were jiggle boobs, hairy chest, MOLE and many many more. It was hilarious!!!! We saw Elvis sitting in his car at the Vegas sign even he thought it was to hot to stand outside ;)

It was funny while we were leaving me and Lisa were talking and both of us agreed that we don't think we will ever come back to Vegas.....I don't know I had fun but i just think its overrated I don't know I guess it is just not fun for some good old Mormons ;) jk I did have fun with my family and I did get to see CELINE DION and that was totally worth it!!!!!

Life is to Short......

I stole this off another person's blog but this is so so true!! For the past couple months I would say I have been so stressed about everything since Dustin got his job I have seriously been planning things out (but really only in my head) like oh we have insurance we can have a baby, oh we are making so much more money we can buy a house, and oh with this money we can pay are debt off in a few months.... Come to find out last night after Dustin and I sat down and went over our finances and made a budget these things I want are going to take awhile for all this to happen. So after breaking down last night crying and stressed that my dream of having a house and having a baby is so far down the road feels like years(but really it isn't going to be)

So I came across this quote today and it made me feel better. This is my life!! If I'm not happy change it seriously if I want a house stick to the budget and get out of debt pinch my pennies on the unnessecary things......go to work on time and stay til 5 even if there are no patients(hello your boss doesn't care).....Enjoy this time with Dustin just me and him...... go do things......and specially if you hate spending Fridays and Saturdays at the grandparents house while Dustin is at work leave you don't have to stay there :)

So sorry about the venting but heres to the new me!! :) I know I just need to change my attitude about this all. Even when your Husband goes and buys a new car and stresses you out to the brink of killing him!!!!(long story) I will have a house and a family someday but just not RIGHT now so don't be mad all day everyday because that is not happening. Get your butt in gear so when that time does come you are ready!!!! :) Life is to short to be upset and stressed everyday....This is your life enjoy it!!!!

Summer has officially started!

All I can say is that I love love love summer!! The past couple weeks have been so much fun! A week ago Dustin didn't have to work the weekend because he volunteered to work on memorial day... so I woke up early Friday morning to Dustin jumping on the bed asking if I want to go to the zoo!! I was like heck yess hurried and got ready and left. It was so much fun it was a little chilly and early in the morning but the animals were so active!! I am such a kid I love the Zoo(a little secret when I was little I wanted to grow up and be a zookeeper ha ha) Then we went to lunch afterwards to A little taste of Britain in Layton. It was so so good we both had the fish and chips and it was so good and I'm not a big fish fan so if I say they were good.... they are good!! :) Go try it out!! It is owned by a couple from England that moved here so it is all food that they serve in England. They also sale candy and goods that are from England so we had to buy some of the chocolate and it was good!!

Later that night it was the annual Brigham City Relay for Life!! It was my third time going and it was awesome!! Even though I think I am getting way to old to stay up all night because I don't think I made it past 1:00am ;) I blame it on Dustin cause he woke me up so early wink wink or because we layed down and watched movies ;) The best part of the whole time was the next morning we all woke up to see this person in a sleeping bag next to our group and we had no clue who it was...... So we just sat there and waited and waited to see who this person who was sleeping by us was and they finally woke up and it was some strange girl that we didn't know who fell asleep while we had the movies going LOL!!! It was the second year they had the T-ball tourny it is always a blast even though we took second but thats ok we can't win every year. But it was a great time and hanging out with the Nelsons make it so much more fun love that family!!!

Then last week I'm sitting at home Dustin is at work and I get a phone call from my good friend Jacki asking do u want to go to Lagoon.......YES!! I haven't been to Lagoon since high school and have wanted to go for years! All I can say that it was so so much fun!! I seriously have not laughed that hard in forever!! Best parts were that we all wore wolf shirts(you know the fam that wear the same color so they won't lose members well we wore wolf shirts and would howl if we lost anybody) we r awesome:), 12 and pregnant couple(seriously kids r way to young to be in a relationship) and the lezzies making out during the scrambler!! LOL!! I don't care if you are straight our not nobody wants to watch u suck each others face off!! Thanks again Cousin Jacki for inviting me it was so so much fun!!

Then Saturday we went to the Salt Lake Bees game! It was awesome like always and they had fireworks afterwards and that was awesome. Even though they went into extra innings and didn't get over til late and the Bees lost it was so much fun! It would of been better if the whole family could of been there but what do you do ;)

But all I can say is I LOVE summer!! I can't wait til next week it is my Birthday and we are going to VEGAS to see Celine Dion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously best birthday present ever(I know it really isn't for my birthday it just happend to fall on that weekend) And my sister Lisa is coming!! Can't wait and in July Lisa, Brianna and maybe Justin are coming to visit and we are going to have so much fun!! This summer is going to be so awesome!!

Just wanted to wish my late mother in law a Happy Birthday today. Can't believe that it has been 6 months since she passed. Wish she was still here with us we sure do miss her. Happy Birthday Jan!!! We love you and miss you so much!!!!

The Best Day Ever Before 6:00a.m.!!!

Well today I woke up to my alarm at 1:50am!! Why in the world would you think I would wake up that early in the morning for?? Well today was the day of The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton!!

I know you probably think I'm a complete nerd and who would wake up that early and watch it specially because there would be 50 thousand reruns of it. Well some of the reasons is I don't work on Fridays, I guess I'm a hopeless romantic(favorite Disney movie is Cinderella), or I am really a complete nerd ha ha!! But for some reason since they got engaged I wanted to watch the wedding. Because I've seen videos of when Princess Dianna got married and just thought that was so cool. And the other reason Kate is just a common girl like u or me ;) I guess a real life fairytale. (come on what girl wouldn't love to marry a prince and become a princess!!)

-The awesome Hats!!

-How she didn't want Prince William to see her until the very end and he is standing there with his back to her and Prince Harry is taking a peek!! Love that he didn't turn around til she was there oh so cute!!

-The 2 kisses on the balcony, wish they kissed longer but still cute.

-Video of Hyde Park lady!!!! LOL!!! if you watched it you know what I'm talking about so hilarous couldn't stop laughing out loud!!

-The carriage that the Queen got in just a little scary!!! LOL

-Dustin's grandma coming down at 4am saying she had low blood sugar(ya right I think she just wanted to watch) and her saying "I just don't get it this is no more important that anyones elses wedding" ha ha ya I guess she is right I didn't marry a prince but I did married my prince charming!!

-For some reason my phone alarm wouldn't stop going off every 5 mins for the first hour I guess it didn't want me to fall asleep ;)

-Most of all my good friend Jacki was watching it too! I so wish we could of watched it together but we texted each other the whole time loved it!!

I totally love that I woke up and watched it live it was awesome. You may thing i'm crazy but who cares I loved it!!

Well how would it be to be a normal girl and now a princess!!

Out "Little" Getaway

I have been begging Dustin for us to go on a vacation for a long time now. Finally after a few melt downs from me he agreed to take me somewhere. Lets just say these melt downs were not good I don't know what is wrong with me I guess I just needed a break from everything ASAP!! Please don't think I'm a baby and whined and threw a fit to get my way there are a lot of factors for my melt downs (I've been working 2 jobs to support Dustin going to school full time and we moved into Dustin's grandparents basement, feeling that our future of having a family and moving were so far away that I think I was just getting stir crazy and stressed with everything plus this stupid weather is killing me!!!) But anywho I finally got Dustin to agree to go somewhere. And if you don't know Dustin very well he is really a homebody and doesn't I repeat doesn't like to go places that much. So last Sunday I was looking for places to go for the weekend. We wanted to go to either Park city or St. George but yet again this stupid Utah weather it was supposed to rain and snow all weekend UGH!! So we waited and waited to see if the weather was going to change so we could go to one of these places but it didn't so we just thought well lets go to Salt Lake and stay over night, go shopping and go to dinner. So we stayed at the Little America Hotel and got the Bed and Breakfast package!! So here are some pics from our "little" getaway ;)

We had so much fun!! Even though it was way to short and the weather sucked it was so nice to getaway with Dustin!! I love him so much!! Can't wait until we get to go somewhere again!!

Other news for us is that Dustin got a job!! Doing exactly what he was going to school for!! He starts tomorrow and the pay is great and they get BENEFITS!! Can you tell how excited I am to have those ha ha....... BABY SOON??............. LOL we'll see. But I'm so proud of Dustin he really worked hard to get this job. This is seriously such a blessing for us words really can't explain how happy we are!! Its just amazing how in such a few months how much our lives have changed and how much they are going to change from this great blessing ;)

Temple work

Dustin and I with my parents, Brad(brother)and Hilary(sister-in-law) got to go there the Logan Temple and do some sealings today. It was so much fun I love it. It is such a humbling experience to go and do sealings for people that never got the chance and to know that now through you they now have the chance to be with their families forever. I also got the chance to be a proxy for girls to be sealed to their parents. It was so neat because I was lucky enough to do it my parents it was such a neat experience to be there kneeling with my parents who I am sealed to and now these girls have the chance to be sealed to their parents. This church is amazing and to go and do stuff like this just really puts life in perspective family is really the most important thing in life. I love my family so much. Thanks guys for coming with me and Dustin hope we get to go back soon!!!

New Hair!!!!!

I have been wanting a new hair do for sometime now I've had the same long straight hair for 8 years now so I think it is time for a change. But I didn't know what to do or if I did something would I like it or could I even style it by myself if I did change it was I going to miss my long hair. But for the last month I have been so sick of my hair so sick of the same straight blah no volume and wearing down one day and the next day wearing it in a ponytail. So I set up the hair appointment saying to myself I need a change. So it was between cutting off the long locks or dying it all brown. So up until 10 mins before my appointment I asked Dustin what to do and he said CUT it!! So I went to my appointment nervous because I haven't had short hair since high school but I kept saying to myself hair grows back and lucky me my hair grows fast. So here is my new hair do. It will take some getting use to and a lot of practice to style it but I am happy with it and most of all happy with the change ;) I cut off over 10 inches and my hair lady told me to donate it to locks of love (I didn't even think of it I'm glad she did) So I got a new me and it is all for a good cause ;) So here are some pics first old pic then new ;)

Early Valentine's day

Since me and Dustin have Fridays off we decided to celebrate Valentines day yesterday rather than fight the crowds on Monday. So we went to dinner at Maddox my favorite!!! Then we went and saw the movie The Eagle. It was a really good movie we thought ;) Specially since Channing Tatum is in it!! He is so hot!!!! Dustin even had to cover my eyes when he was shirtless probably because I was drooling ha ha ha. If you like action and Roman time movies I would recommend going and seeing it. Thanks Dustin for picking me for your Valentines!! Love you so much!!!!!

Always and Forever!!

Well since I'm new at this whole blogging thing I thought I would go through my pictures that I already have and post the special days. So here is my BEST day ever!!! The day Dustin and I went through the TEMPLE!!!

Words really can't describe how I felt that day!! It was kind of a world wind for us but if I think of what it means to me now it makes me cry(get this whole crying thing from my mom) But to know that me and Dustin will be together forever and our children will be with us forever makes me so happy. I know it took me and Dustin quite sometime to get to this point in our lives but I wouldn't change a thing. Also I wanted to thank our family and friends that came and celebrated our special day with us and also thank you for being such good examples for us and standing by us and helping us on the way to get to this point.

I love Dustin so much and am so grateful that he chose me to spend eternity with.
